Your details and the Project Guided Instruction

This page explains what Turning Point Training Institute collects when you request the Project Guided Instruction, why, who processes it, and how to reach us. Last updated 11 October 2026.

What we collect when you request the guide

DetailWhy
Your first nameTo address the email that sends you the guide.
Your email addressTo send you the link to the guide, and to handle a resend or a corrected address.
Which labelled link you arrived from (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or "direct" / "unknown"), with the placement label of that link, for your first and your latest requestTo count how many guide requests each channel's link brings. This describes the link used, not who you are.
Delivery records for the guide email: a scrambled code made from your email address (not the address itself), the time of each request, whether our email service accepted, refused or has not yet confirmed the email, its message reference, and a scrambled code of the email's exact contentTo make sure the guide is sent once per request even when several requests arrive together, to limit repeated sends to the same address, and to answer questions about a missing email.
Short-lived request counters: a scrambled code made from your connection's IP address, with a count of recent requests; and each day's count of guide emails per address (by its scrambled code) and in total, with a note of which request used each countTo stop automated misuse of the signup form and to keep to the daily sending limits. These counters and notes are deleted automatically within two days.
Whether you ticked the optional box for future emails, with the exact wording you agreed to, its version and the timeOnly if you ticked it: to email you about future courses and resources. If you did not tick it, nothing about future emails is recorded.

The optional box reads: “Yes, also email me about future Turning Point courses and resources. I can unsubscribe at any time.” Asking for the guide does not sign you up for anything else.

What we do not collect

  • Your answers and edits in the guide stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else (see "On your device" below).
  • This site uses no analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. (Link clicks are counted by Metricool on its own link pages, described below.)
  • Your name and email are never put into a web address or a tracked link.
  • The scrambled codes are made with a secret key, so they cannot be read back as your address or IP address without that key. They still relate to you, so we treat them as personal data, not as anonymous data.

On your device

After you request the guide, this browser tab keeps your first name, email address and the request status in its session storage, so the confirmation page can show them without putting them in the address bar. If you arrived through a labelled link, the tab also keeps that link's label. The browser removes this when you close the tab.

In the guide itself, while the box "Keep my answers and edits in this browser" is ticked (it is ticked unless you untick it), your answers to the project questions and any prompts you edited are saved in this browser's local storage, so they survive a refresh. They stay there until you untick the box, choose "Start over", or clear your browser's site data. If you untick the box, the browser keeps only that choice (no answers), so it stays unticked next time. They never leave your device unless you download them yourself.

Who processes your details

  • Brevo stores the contact record and sends the guide email on our behalf. Brevo also records whether the email was delivered and opened and which of its links were clicked (its links pass through Brevo's click counter first).
  • Vercel hosts this website and runs the form that passes your request to Brevo. The form runs in Vercel's Frankfurt (Germany) region.
  • Upstash (a hosted database) keeps the delivery records and request counters described above, in its Frankfurt (Germany) region.
  • Metricool provides the link pages on our social profiles and the link behind the button in the guide email. When you open one of those links, Metricool shows a short page with one button that leads to this site, and counts the visit and the click (its own privacy terms apply). The email also contains a direct link to the guide that does not pass through Metricool.

How long we keep them

We keep your contact record so we can handle resends and, if you agreed, future emails. We keep the delivery records so a missing or duplicate email can be checked. Request counters are deleted automatically within two days. You can ask us to delete your contact record and delivery records at any time.

Your choices

  • Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing does not stop the guide link or the PDF from working.
  • To see, correct or delete your details, write to Institute@turning-point.ae from the address concerned.
